World Environment Day – Community Outreach & Awareness Campaign On the occasion of World Environment Day, Queen’s Carmel School organised impactful community outreach and awareness campaigns aimed at promoting environmental responsibility and social consciousness. Students actively participated in cleanliness drives within the school campus, gaining a practical understanding of waste management and the importance of segregating wet and dry waste. The awareness initiatives extended beyond the campus through creative expressions such as poster and pamphlet making, slogan writing, and powerful street plays (nukkad natikas) that effectively engaged the community. These activities empowered students to articulate vital environmental and social messages, fostering civic responsibility and inspiring collective action towards a cleaner, greener, and more sustainable society.
