4th July 2026 - Life Skills Development Program (LSDP)

In its continued pursuit of nurturing well-rounded, responsible, and future-ready learners, Queen's Carmel School successfully conducted the Life Skills Development Program (LSDP) on 04 July 2026 for students of Grades I to X. The July edition of the LSDP seamlessly integrated experiential learning, creative expression, and life-skill enhancement.

The day commenced with a highly informative Disaster Preparedness Workshop, designed to equip students with essential knowledge and practical competencies for responding effectively to emergency situations. Through interactive demonstrations and engaging discussions, students gained valuable insights into disaster management, safety protocols, first-response measures, and the importance of remaining calm and vigilant during crises. The workshop significantly strengthened their awareness, resilience, and preparedness to face reallife challenges with confidence and responsibility.

Adding vibrancy and artistic flair to the day, the Inter- House Dance Competition – Selection Round witnessed enthusiastic participation from students across all grades. The performances reflected exceptional creativity, impeccable coordination, rhythmic precision, and remarkable stage presence. Each presentation stood as a testament to the students' dedication, discipline, and collaborative spirit, transforming the event into a captivating celebration of talent and cultural expression.

Diverse range of Club Activities, offered students meaningful opportunities to explore their interests, cultivate new skills, and engage in collaborative learning. These activities fostered innovation, critical thinking, leadership, effective communication, and teamwork, enabling learners to broaden their perspectives in an engaging and enriching environment.

The July edition of the LSDP once again reaffirmed the school's steadfast commitment to providing transformative educational experiences that inspire excellence, encourage lifelong learning, and nurture the holistic development of every learner.

2nd June 2026 - JOY OF GIVING – ANNUAL SOCIAL OUTREACH INITIATIVE

Queen’s Carmel School proudly observed Joy of Giving, its annual outreach initiative aimed at fostering empathy, compassion, and social responsibility among students. Rooted in the belief that education extends beyond academic excellence, the programme served as a meaningful platform to instil the values of generosity, gratitude, and community service while encouraging students to become sensitive and responsible citizens.

As part of the initiative, students enthusiastically contributed clothes, books, stationery, food items, and other essential utilities for the underprivileged. Their wholehearted participation reflected a deep understanding of the importance of sharing resources and extending support to those in need. The collection drive, organised in December 2025, not only provided material assistance to beneficiaries but also reinforced among students the significance of kindness, inclusivity, and collective responsibility.

A particularly moving aspect of the programme was the outreach visit undertaken by students of Middle wing to an old-age home. The visit proved to be a profoundly enriching and emotional experience for everyone involved. The students spent quality time interacting with the elderly residents, listening attentively to their life experiences, and engaging in heartfelt conversations. The students further spread joy through musical performances, singing songs that filled the atmosphere with warmth and cheer. Adding a personal touch, the students created handmade greeting cards and penned heartfelt messages, expressing love, gratitude, and good wishes.

The initiative also extended its impact through a valuable contribution to the Right to Fight Foundation, supporting its efforts towards the welfare and education of underprivileged children. This act of giving further strengthened the programme’s objective of encouraging students to contribute meaningfully to society.

More than a charitable endeavour, Joy of Giving emerged as a transformative learning experience that nurtured empathy, strengthened social awareness, and inspired students to become agents of positive change. The initiative reaffirmed the school’s commitment to holistic education by cultivating compassionate hearts and empowering young learners to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.

20th June 2026 - International Day Celebration

"Yoga is the journey of the self, through the self, to the self."

Queen's Carmel School celebrated International Yoga Day with great enthusiasm and zeal, reinforcing the importance of physical, mental, and emotional well-being among educators and students alike.

The celebration commenced in the morning with a serene session of meditation and chanting, allowing the teachers to begin the day with mindfulness and inner peace. This was followed by a warm-up session that included Anulom Vilom and various breathing exercises, helping participants improve concentration, respiratory health, and overall relaxation.

The teachers then actively participated in a series of yoga asanas, including Surya Namaskar, Mountain Pose (Tadasana), Camel Pose (Ustrasana), Mandook Asana, Warrior Pose (Virabhadrasana), and Markat Asana. The significance and health benefits of each posture were discussed in detail, highlighting how regular yoga practice enhances flexibility, strengthens muscles, improves posture, reduces stress, and promotes holistic wellness.

Addressing the participants, the Head of School emphasized the vital role of yoga in today's fast-paced world, particularly for students. The importance of incorporating yoga into daily life for developing concentration, self-discipline, emotional balance, and a healthy lifestyle was highlighted. The Head of School also highlighted, that the school's regular yoga sessions stand as a testimony to its commitment towards nurturing the physical and mental well-being of its students.

The celebration concluded with a renewed commitment to embracing yoga as a way of life and promoting its timeless values among the entire school community.

19th May 2026 - Splash & Smile: Kindergarten Pool Party Celebration

Queen’s Carmel School recently organized a vibrant and exciting “Summer Fiesta – Pool Party” for the Kindergarten students (Nursery, LKG, and UKG) on 19th May 2026. The event was specially planned to help the little learners beat the summer heat while enjoying a joyful day full of laughter, fun, and refreshing water activities before the commencement of summer break.

The school campus echoed with excitement as the tiny tots arrived in colourful swimwear, carrying bright umbrellas and cheerful smiles. The beautifully arranged pool area created a lively and safe environment where children enthusiastically participated in water play activities under the careful supervision of teachers and staff members.

The event aimed to provide students with a delightful recreational experience while encouraging social interaction, confidence building, and active participation. The children thoroughly enjoyed splashing in the water, dancing to fun music, and engaging in playful activities with their friends. Their excitement and happiness made the celebration truly memorable.

Special attention was given to hygiene and safety measures throughout the event. The school ensured a secure and child-friendly atmosphere, allowing the students to enjoy the celebration comfortably and safely.

The Pool Party turned out to be a refreshing and unforgettable experience for the young learners. Such joyful activities reflect the school’s commitment towards creating a balanced learning environment that promotes happiness, holistic development, and meaningful childhood memories.

16th May 2026 - COMMUNITY OUTREACH PROGRAMME – MISSION GREEN SPHERE

Queen’s Carmel School, Greater Noida organised MISSION GREEN SPHERE – a Community Outreach Programme for a Water-Secure & Sustainable Planet, as the continuity of the CBSE initiative Jal Pakhwara 2026 – Every Drop Counts.

This meaningful event, in collaboration with Omaxe Connaught Place Mall, Beta-II, Greater Noida, was held in the mall premises on 16 May 2026 from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. The initiative served as a meaningful platform to foster environmental consciousness and encourage collective responsibility towards sustainable living. The programme exemplified the school’s commitment to extending learning beyond the classroom and engaging the wider community in addressing pressing environmental concerns.

The event commenced with a warm welcome, setting the tone for an afternoon dedicated to environmental stewardship and civic engagement. Students captivated the audience with a soulful rendition of “Earth Is All We Have,” a performance that underscored the urgent need to cherish and protect our planet. This was followed by two thoughtprovoking street plays, Nukkad Natak, that highlighted the significance of water conservation and responsible electricity consumption. Through compelling narratives and impactful performances, the students effectively conveyed the message that even small, mindful actions can contribute significantly to preserving natural resources.

A variety of interactive and experiential activities further enriched the programme. The paper bagmaking activity encouraged participants to embrace eco-friendly alternatives to single-use plastics, while the tattoo corner creatively reinforced environmental messages among younger visitors. The slogan-writing and drawing activities witnessed enthusiastic participation, providing individuals with an opportunity to express their environmental concerns and aspirations through art and creativity.

An open-stage segment added a vibrant and inclusive dimension to the event, allowing visitors of all age groups to share ideas, perform, and voice their commitment to environmental preservation. The active involvement of shoppers, families, and community members transformed the programme into a dynamic public forum for awareness and advocacy.

The event concluded with the distribution of certificates to participants and visitors in recognition of their enthusiastic involvement. More than a series of activities, Mission Green Sphere emerged as a powerful community movement that strengthened environmental awareness and inspired positive behavioural change.

16th May 2026 - Life Skills Development Program (LSDP) – May 2026

In alignment with its unwavering commitment towards the holistic development of students, Queen’s Carmel School successfully organized the Life Skills Development Program (LSDP) for the month of May on Saturday, 16th May 2026. The program witnessed enthusiastic participation from students of Grades I to X and served as a vibrant platform to nurture creativity, collaboration, physical fitness, and sportsmanship.

The day commenced with the highly anticipated Inter House Wall Magazine Competition, organized on the theme of “World Heritage Day.” The competition encouraged students to explore and appreciate the richness of cultural and historical heritage through artistic and literary expression. Themes such as “Heritage Around Me,” “Stories Behind Monuments,” “Preserving Our Legacy,” and “Cultural Heritage of India” inspired students to present insightful and visually captivating displays.

The creatively curated wall magazines reflected exceptional originality, thoughtful research, aesthetic presentation, and collaborative excellence. Through their innovative ideas and artistic interpretations, students beautifully highlighted the importance of preserving heritage and passing cultural values to future generations. The competition served as a meaningful platform for students to showcase their literary flair, creativity, awareness, and teamwork.

The second half of the programme featured the Intra Class Athletics and Skipping Rope Competitions, conducted with great zeal and sporting spirit. Grade I students participated in the Hurdle Race, demonstrating agility and confidence, while the students of Grade II showcased coordination and teamwork in the Pair Race.

Adding further excitement to the day, the Skipping Rope Competition for Grades III to X was conducted category-wise. The participants displayed impressive stamina, balance, rhythm, and perseverance throughout the event. The winners were felicitated with certificates and Medals.

The event not only celebrated talent and teamwork but also reinforced essential life skills. The successful culmination of the LSDP activities once again reflected Queen’s Carmel School’s dedication towards providing meaningful experiential learning opportunities that contribute to the all-round growth and characterbuilding of every Carmelite learner.

12th May 2026 - Workshop on Menstrual Hygiene Awareness (Grades VI–X)

Queen’s Carmel School organized an informative and sensitization workshop on Menstrual Health and Hygiene in collaboration with health partners HealthSetGo for the students of Grades VI to X on Tuesday, 12th May. The session aimed to create awareness, break myths, and promote healthy hygiene practices among adolescent girls.

The workshop was conducted by esteemed resource person, Dr. Lipi Sharma a highly skilled Obstetrician, Gynecologist, and Infertility Specialist with over 12 years of experience in women’s healthcare. She has served at renowned healthcare institutions including Yatharth Hospital, Apollo Hospital, and Metro Hospital.

The School Staff Nurse, Ms. Rama Goel supported her in the presentation and added her valuable inputs. They explained the biological aspects of menstruation in a simple and age-appropriate manner. Emphasis was laid on maintaining personal hygiene, the correct use and disposal of sanitary products, and the importance of a balanced diet during the menstrual cycle.

Students were encouraged to ask questions openly, which helped in addressing common misconceptions and removing stigma associated with the topic. The session also highlighted the importance of emotional well-being and self-care during menstruation.

Interactive discussions and real-life examples made the session engaging and impactful. The workshop concluded with the sharing of essential guidelines to reinforce learning and informative worksheet.

Overall, the initiative proved highly beneficial in empowering students with knowledge, confidence, and a positive outlook towards menstrual health and hygiene.

11th May 2026 - Celebrating Mother’s Love – The Heartbeat of Every Home

“A mother’s love is the first blessing we receive, the strongest support we cherish, and the purest inspiration that guides us throughout life.

Queen’s Carmel School celebrated Mother’s Day with immense warmth, elegance, and heartfelt enthusiasm, transforming the school campus into a vibrant space filled with love, gratitude, and joyous expressions. The celebration was thoughtfully curated to honour the unconditional love, sacrifices, and unwavering support of mothers, while providing students with an opportunity to express their affection through a bouquet of creative and cultural activities.

The celebration commenced with the enthusiastic participation of the little learners from Grades Nursery, LKG, and UKG. The tiny tots showcased their creativity by preparing beautiful Mother’s Day photo frames through fingerprint painting activities. Their innocent efforts and colourful creations became cherished keepsakes symbolising pure love and admiration for their mothers. Adding further charm to the occasion, the young students presented a delightful dance rendition dedicated to their mothers, filling the atmosphere with smiles, excitement, and applause. Students of Grades I and II enthusiastically participated by designing elegant crowns for their mothers as tokens of appreciation and affection. The children also mesmerised the audience with a graceful gratitude dance performance that beautifully portrayed the irreplaceable role of mothers in nurturing and guiding their children with endless care and devotion.

The students of Grade III presented an impactful stage presentation titled “My Mother, My Superhero.” Through expressive dialogues, confident narration, and meaningful enactments, the students highlighted the strength, resilience, sacrifices, and unconditional love of mothers, leaving the audience deeply touched and inspired.

Students from senior grades displayed remarkable creativity and artistic expression by crafting exquisite handmade cards for their mothers. Each card reflected heartfelt emotions, and sincere gratitude.

The Mother’s Day celebration at Queen’s Carmel School was a beautiful blend of creativity, emotions, and cultural expression. The event not only strengthened the emotional bond between children and their mothers but also instilled values of love, gratitude, respect, and appreciation among students.

22nd April 2026 : EARTH DAY CELEBRATION

Queen’s Carmel School commemorated Earth Day on 22nd April 2026 with great enthusiasm and a deep commitment to environmental stewardship. The celebration was thoughtfully curated to go beyond mere activities, aiming to sensitize students towards the pressing need for environmental conservation and to instill in them a lifelong sense of responsibility towards the planet.

As an institution, the school firmly believes in nurturing environmentally conscious individuals, and this occasion served as a meaningful platform to integrate values of sustainability, empathy, and mindful living into experiential learning.

The young learners of Grades Kindergarten, I and II participated in a delightful “Save Earth” Rhymes Recitation. Through their expressive presentations, they conveyed simple yet powerful messages about caring for nature, cleanliness, and conservation, laying the foundation for early environmental awareness.

Students of Grades III and IV engaged in a thoughtprovoking Role Play titled “Voice of Nature.” By personifying elements such as trees, rivers, and animals, they gave a voice to nature’s concerns, reflecting an emerging sensitivity and understanding of ecological balance.

For Grade V, the activity encouraged students to internalize their role as responsible citizens. By designing badges that symbolized the “My Green Promise Badge”, students took a step towards translating awareness into action.

The Grade VI Eco-friendly Bag Making Activity provided a hands-on learning experience, reinforcing the importance of sustainable alternatives and responsible consumption. It enabled students to connect classroom learning with real-life practices.

Students of Grades VII – X participated in a reflective “Gratitude Circle for Nature.” This session encouraged thoughtful dialogue, allowing students to express appreciation for natural resources and deliberate on practical ways to preserve them. Such reflective practices play a vital role in shaping values and attitudes towards the environment.

The school remains steadfast in its commitment to fostering a generation that not only understands environmental challenges but also contributes meaningfully towards building a sustainable future. The celebration successfully instilled environmental values and inspired students to become responsible stewards of the Earth. 18 April 2026 : LSDP Programme

The inaugural LSDP (Life Skills Development Programme) for the academic session 2026–27 was successfully conducted on 18 April 2026 (Saturday), marked by remarkable enthusiasm and wholehearted participation from both students and faculty members. The programme was meticulously designed to promote holistic development, creativity, collaboration, and experiential learning across all grade levels.

The day commenced with engaging Value Based Learning through Storytelling Sessions for students of Grades I to V. These sessions provided a vibrant platform for young learners to listen, express, and interpret stories, thereby enhancing their imagination, and value-based understanding. Concurrently, students of Grades VI to VIII participated in an enriching, focusing on essential life skills through interactive and thought-provoking activities.

A significant highlight of the programme was the House Meeting, conducted for students of Grades I to X. This session was strategically organized to facilitate planning and preparation for the upcoming Inter-House Competitions. This offered students a collaborative space to interact, exchange ideas, and strengthen bonds within their respective houses, thereby fostering leadership qualities, teamwork, and a strong sense of belonging.

The Eco Club sessions for primary classes and secondary students encouraged environmental awareness and responsibility through hands-on activities. Middle school students engaged in Design Thinking activities, which stimulated problemsolving and innovative thinking. The students of Grades III to V explored their creative talents through AIL (Art Integrated Learning) activities including music, dance, and art & craft.

Overall, the programme was conducted seamlessly. The activities were highly engaging and aligned with the objective of nurturing life skills, creativity, and collaborative learning.

The first LSDP programme of the session set a positive and energetic tone for the year ahead, leaving students motivated, confident, and eager to participate in future such initiatives.

5 April 2026 : ORIENTATION PROGRAMME: A PRELUDE TO EXCELLENCE

On April 5, 2026, Queen’s Carmel School inaugurated the academic session 2026–27 with a meticulously curated Orientation Programme, centred on the theme “Positive Parenting.” The event stood as a refined confluence of vision, collaboration, and progressive thought, aimed at fostering a meaningful partnership between parents and the institution to nurture wellrounded, future-ready learners.

The programme commenced with a warm and gracious welcome extended to esteemed guests, parents, and members of the school management. The presence of Dr. Roma Kumar, an eminent clinical psychologist with over 38 years of distinguished experience, lent depth and distinction to the occasion. The ceremonial lamplighting marked an auspicious beginning, followed by an evocative Kathak performance on Saraswati Vandana, which imbued the event with elegance and spiritual resonance.

A moment of pride unfolded with the unveiling of QCS Chronicles 3.0, the school’s newsletter, symbolising the institution’s unwavering commitment to academic excellence, innovation, and transparent communication. This was succeeded by a comprehensive presentation that offered parents valuable insights into the school’s academic framework, integrated pedagogical approaches, and dynamic learning environment.

The highlight of this year’s programme was an engaging and thoughtfully designed skit on Art Integrated Learning (AIL). The performance vividly illustrated how core subjects such as Mathematics, Science, and Social Science are seamlessly interwoven with music, drama, and creative expression to make learning both meaningful and enjoyable. The skit demonstrated how abstract concepts are transformed into tangible experiences and showcased how AIL fosters conceptual clarity.

Dr. Kumar’s keynote session on Positive Parenting was both enlightening and impactful. Her interactive address underscored the significance of nurturing emotionally resilient, confident children and highlighted the indispensable role of parents during the formative years.

The Orientation Programme thus emerged as a powerful platform for dialogue, reflection, and inspiration. As parents departed with renewed confidence and clarity, the event set a promising tone for the year ahead.
